Frequently asked questions

Can I switch plans at any time?+

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the remainder of your billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current period — you keep access to your current plan until then.

What happens if I exceed my plan limits?+

We never cut off your API access mid-month. If you exceed your API call limit, additional calls are charged at $0.002 per 1k calls. We'll email you at 80% and 100% usage so there are no surprises.

Is there a free trial on paid plans?+

Every paid plan has a 14-day free trial — no credit card required. You can test all features including webhooks, analytics, and bulk scheduling before committing.

Do you offer annual pricing?+

Yes. Annual billing saves 20% across all paid tiers. You can switch to annual billing from the dashboard settings at any time.

What counts as a "connected social account"?+

Each authenticated social profile counts as one account — e.g. an Instagram Business account, a LinkedIn page, a TikTok creator account. One user can own multiple profiles. Sub-accounts for platforms that support them (like Facebook Pages connected via a Meta account) each count separately.

Can I use Aether to build a product for my customers?+

Yes — that's the primary use case. Use Connect Links to let your end users authenticate their own social accounts into your product. Their accounts count against your plan's connected account limit. The Scale and Enterprise plans are sized for this multi-tenant SaaS use case.

What's included in the Enterprise plan?+

Enterprise is fully custom: volume pricing, private cloud deployment, SOC 2 report access, SAML SSO, a dedicated Slack channel, custom SLAs, and a dedicated customer success manager. Contact sales@aetherhq.dev to talk.

How does billing work for teams?+

Billing is per organization, not per user. Team members you invite do not cost extra — the plan covers the whole organization. Only connected social accounts and API call volume affect your tier.
